Tena koutou,
We have been told that one in every five people in this country are affected by mental health at some point in their lives, whether the condition is anxiety, depression, bipolar or psychosis. This involves family and close friends as well as the individual person looking for some hope to continue living. For individuals with depression one in five have suicidal thoughts. Trying to battle through those thoughts alone, can kill you. They, and their families, need constructive support. Depression is not an emotion, it is a cancer of the mind.
